About B O D Y
BODY is a private clinic specialising in the diagnosis, treatment and management of musculo-skeletal conditions.
Our goal is to provide 360 degree care to every client by combining our expertise in Osteopathy, Clinical Pilates and Pain Management.
You will be shown how using the body correctly can lead to a greatly improved quality of life. This included learning how your posture, breathing, digestion, hormones and psychological well-being all contribute to your current condition and overall health.
B O D Y Osteopathy
The role of the Osteopath is to first help you to learn how different parts of your body work as a collective unit. The Osteopath then has the skills to 'resculpture' your musculoskeletal system to allow you to explore movement in your body that is free of pain or discomfort.
Coming to see an Osteopath is a good place to start if you are in pain or discomfort. However many people think ahead of the curve and visit an Osteopath on a consistent basis in order to sustain excellent health.
Osteopathic treatment involves using a range of therapeutic techniques including stretching, joint manipulation, deep tissue massage and muscle relaxation techniques.

B O D Y Pilates
Pilates was originally termed Contrology by its founder Joseph Pilates. It is a system of movements that are intended to strengthen the human body and mind. Pilates is an art form through which we realign posture by correcting asymmetries throughout the body, effectively re-sculpturing the human form.
Pilates much like Osteopathy is based on the belief that the body and mind are interrelated. In order to achieve a perfect harmony between the two, the system of Pilates combines sequences of movements and breathing.
Pilates improves whole body flexibility, mobility, strength and precision of movement. It also improves posture by correcting asymmetries in the musculature.
At our clinic we specialise in combining Pilates with Osteopathy to provide a unique system of medical care. This is a system designed to improve whole body strength, flexibility and control through the application of hands-on Osteopathic techniques and strength & flexibility movements of Pilates.
